Common Questions

How do I reset my password?

If you signed up with an email and password, use the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in screen to receive a reset email. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, your sign-in is managed by Apple and there's no separate password to reset.

Is my data backed up?

Your account and any social activity you share are stored securely on our cloud backend. Your activity history and GPS routes are kept on your device, and Apple Watch sessions sync through your private iCloud. Deleting the app removes the activity history stored locally on your device.

Can I use RockSteady offline?

Yes — tracking workouts and viewing your activity history work offline, since that data lives on your device. Social features (sharing posts, friends, comments) require an internet connection.
